oldpassat: This upcoming release will not have built in XM. I do plan on adding it though. I have implemented an external apps section which will allow you to embed a XM application of your choice. I have also added the ability to change the action/text of all buttons so you can make it a main option on the left nav...
Cris: I will be adding an EQ, but it will not be in this upcoming release...

NO XM is a bummer...only took guino a few days to get a really slick XM interface working. Not having XM that works with hibernation is keeping me from being loyal to CentraFuse, not that you probably care, but just letting you know its a HUGE feature.

The XM won't take me long and I will implement it... It isn't a priority for me because for one I don't currently have the hardware to test. Secondly before I integrate it into my app I want to make sure it's not going to make the XM people mad. I know I won't be recording and timeshifting like TimeTrax, but XM did pull their supported PC unit from the market and the only way to interface XM with the PC currently is by making a un-supported hack cable for XM Direct...
I can make a matching skin for FrodoXM that people can embed for the mean time... Should be plenty... My new external apps section lets you specify whether to un-mute line when launching, auto re-mutes line-in when you play music again, ability to tell it to pause playing music, etc...

k, didnt think there would be any problem with XM....
The unmuting works already if you use the Radio button to launch Frodo's. The main problem is something happening after hibernation that WILL NOT allow Frodo's XM player to resume playing.
Sometimes, Frodo's player won't embed properly, and will sit on top of centrafuse. When this happens, after hibernation Frodo's XM kicks right back on.

Right after 1.3 I will spend time with FrodoXM and try and figure out what is going wrong with the embed and hibernation problems... Hopefully I can work those problems out and release an update for it... I will also build a skin that matches my new skin for FrodoXM... This way everyone can have an XM solution...

Just FYI regarding FSRX:
I have FSRX embedded as the radio app - if I don't quit FSRX before exiting CF (or before the system auto-shuts down), I get a BSOD. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem.. it's aggravating when I forget to exit FSRX manually.
Edit: I've been able to duplicate the problem with both the carputer as well as my desktop PC, and I am using the USB XMPCR, not XMDirect.
My $.02 - perhaps there's something with the way CF terminates the application?

Every day I check the Frodo and Centrafuse forums to see if either has released a version that will allow me to run XM and GPS, toggle between the two, and hibernate. That's all I really need. Unfortunately, neither package can do this (relatively) simple task at this time. I'm just using Routis and FrodoXM as standalone apps and have to switch between them with the Windows taskbar.
