Music problem.
can't seem to find anything to help with this.
CF b1.20
EPIA M10000
256Mb DDR2100
1x 80Gb HDD for OS and apps
1x 40Gb HDD for Music
Onboard audio latest and Direct X version
Currently plugged in to a normal PSU beside me.
Music just wont work right I get crazy interference it sounds like drum beats and sometimes like a dial toneish sound.
No idea what to do :/

Are you currently testing it inside car or outside car audio system? How is your audio out connected to your input device? Through HU or directly to your amp? Through analog or SPDIF?
You will have to let us know more details man...

I have just realized what forum you posted in. Does it mean you are only having issues under this specific frontend? Did you actually tried playing files that you are having problems with directly from Windows using lets say Media player?

the pc is currently beside me set up as a home pc of sorts normal PSU, CRT monitor and 2.1 speaker set up (did the same when I had it plugged in my TV)
It only happens with Centrafuse. WMP and MediaEngine work fine.
I have the managed dx thing as well so I have no idea, the only thing I can think is I have heard PCI wifi cards cause problems but I need to use this I dunno if I get a USB soundcard if it might help.

I dont think there is anything wrong with onboard audio. I have been testing CF while ago and I have had no problems with audio quality at all (XP SP2). What OS are you running?

Xp Sp1
I just pulled the wifi card out, same problem.
Look like the best bet is to get a USB soundcard when I get paiud and see if it helps.

It seems something might be wrong with your windows install... Try an old restore point, uninstalling directx and managed directx and re-installing, or maybe re-installing windows itself... You shouldn't have to get an external sound card...
