create playlists outside of the car?

i like making playlists but i never do it while i'm driving becuase i usually like to pay attention to driving

.

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a playist on one machine (laptop) and then import the playlist on another machine (car)

just create at list one playlist in your car... Then look in the playlists subfolder where you installed CENTRAFUSE. You will see the playlist file, which can be edited with any text editor... You will quickly recognize the format... You can create this anywhere and just copy them into the playlists folder...

i'll have to do that tonight. basically the playlist was just a .txt file that i cut in paste into this post. not sure how it would be that different but I'll do it when i get home tonight.

i made a playlist generator that scans my mp3 directory and makes my playlists based on the directory structure. i have all of my music organized like this:

root > artist > album > songs

I'll post anyone else is interested. Perhaps I will play with converting ITunes playlist to CF playlist as well...
