Equalizer in Centrafuse
Hey David, I think the only thing missing from Centrafuse is an equalizer for bass, mids and highs. Will this feature in one of your next releases?

I second this. Its a bit of a pain when different types of musics come on and drowned out by loud sloppy bass.

Since I am using DirectX for my playback I have a good number of options for plugins that can give me a more robust mixer/eq... I will be adding this...

tj!2k4: I bet your talking about the line in for the XM sat radio. What a pain to try to tune after using Centrafuse and getting its settings just right.

Yeah =)
I notice that the mids and highs are off with the XMPCR. I imagine whatever device one uses for "radio" might need some extra tweaking in any case..

Haven't messed it with it much but I have tried without success to try using the built in EQ in frodosatx. Seems like only the presets work.

It would be nice if you could have an equalizer like in Winamp.

Speaking of winamp. I wonder if theres a way directly plug the CF frontend into winamp and use its features but with the CF layout and skin. That would take care of the music and video portion and would save alot of work. Then you could also use all of winamps plugins such as visuals, eq, and 3rd party plugins. How hard would this be? Im surprised someone hasnt made a good skin for a carputer allready. I dont know the first thing about programming but this seems like it would save on a whole lot of work. I dont know, Just a thougt.

Centrafuse is way better than Winamp. It's TS friendly, embedds GPS, Internet, TV, weather, phone, and a lot of other stuff. Is Winamp able to do such things...?

I think you misunderstood me. What i trying to get at was have Centrafuse use Winamp as a backend. Meaning that winamp is the source of the music, video and all the other plugins available but have CF still be the frontend. I would prefer a whole lot more to have winamp controlling the sound of my music then CF. CF would still have all the capabilities it has now also.
