Just wondering whic site u new yorkers use. I dont know which is the best one...what site are u using for traffic???

You rock man, only one I knew about was sigalert and that one had most of the 405 blacked out (because of the carpool expansion I think) and it required you to scroll

No problem. I don't know if CF can open a local HTM file or not, but if it can or if you can serve it (from somewhere on the internet or using a local web-server), then try this out:

I'm working on a .htm that will have the map centered and graphical buttons on each side (So you can have 10 "favorite" links in addition to the link when you click the map). This way, from the traffic map page you could go directly to L.A. Street Traffic, Google Maps, Google Local, My E-Bay, your E-Mail, or any link you want.

This traffic map is the perfect size in CF, and can easily be "skinned" with a custom "land" color and custom surrounding graphics/links, so I'm just going wild with it.

That would be awesome if you could post a link. I can't allow people to use my work server or I would have done the same. It is possible that CF will let you open a local .htm too though (I haven't tested it yet).

Also, if anyone that is more graphically talented then myself would like to make a .htm page with link buttons on either side of the map (that still fits perfectly in the un-maximized CF traffic frame), please post it. If not, I will post mine once I get it fully working (my table cell onclick's are not linking like they should yet!?!).

I couldn't get the onclick to work, so I just made it use regular links. I played with the button sizes so it fits perfectly in CF's embedded browser.

You can easily change the map picture, links, and the button text. I commented the HTML.

If others want to skin this page with graphical buttons, please post your files here.

If you search around for a bit you might be able to find streets. I took about 3 min and couldn't though.

Nice AOL-Hater. It comes up perfect in the CF window. Thanks for posting it for others to see/use.

One bug, I forgot the "http://" in front of the href below "" so when you click the map it doesn't work. I thought I got that bug before posting it, but I guess not. Easily fixed. You are also welcome to change some of the button links as I doubt most people use PayTrust and not everybody uses Wells Fargo.
