I don't know. But if you as in RR use winamp to play your music, you just have to add the ,.aac to your audio file play list.

cf plays everything that wmp plays, it use dx
you only need to add .aac somewhere in a configuration file

just make sure you have an AAC codec installed and that you can play your aac files in WMP. Then edit your config.xml and add the aac to the supported music extensions and you should be good to go.

also make sure you have the correct codec installed. 90% of my music is aac and i only use centrafuse.
