I second that... but is that even a display area? with the station displayed at the top of the screen it seems like the blue bar might just be just decoration. in any case, I hope it's a display

it is a display... It is simply used when you are manually tuning a station it is displayed in that display area... When you hit the tune button, if it's a valid radio station, it tunes to that station and it is then displayed in the main title area and it's cleared...
I could also scroll RDS information in there while a station is playing, once a computer based RDS radio is made available...

veetid - if I use frodo's xm app for my "radio", did you make it so it will say "radio" (or whatever the radio button is named) in the title area, where it says "FM 87.00" in the screenshot? Right now in 1.2 it keeps scrolling whatever the current playlist MP3 is..
