I understand that... What I was hoping is that the crossfade times would be configurable from 0sec and up. 0sec crossfade = play next song the exact instant that the last one stopped (instead of the traditional 2 sec gap that most CDs have).

Thanks
Mark

I do not add any gap... If you want gapless playback then you need to remove all the gaps from your music files... Then they will play gapless in CF with no problem...

BTW: MP3's have a gap by nature too (although very slight) because they are in frames, and a song can end anywhere within the last frame (rearly on the exact very end). For gapless most people use OGG or FLAC if the also want lossless. On the other hand, you will probably never notice it with MP3s unless you are really picky (especially if you set crossfade to like .1 seconds or something very small)

david, what about a longer crossfading when pause/play pressed? I'd say about 3 secs (or custom)

That's not cross-fade, it's fade-in / fade-out. But it is a good idea.

I like crossfading but dont want it when a song automatically advances in the playlist
Id only want it when you manually click next or select a new song

ie Have a song playing then you're in the music manager and select a new album to play so you hit play now. Id like it then to crossfade from that playing song to the new album
