ID3 Tag Reading in CF - Page 2

any ID3 tags should be fine... ID3v1 is the most compatible, but 1.4 should read ID3v2 tags just as good...

I use this program to convert all my tags to the way I want them. It works very well.

I'm confused... centrafuse in my system appears to be displaying file names and NOT the "title" tag, which drives me crazy since most of my MP3s are named artist-album-title and that's cumbersome within CF.

This wont Help anybody I dont think...But I got CF to work superbly with my album art as well as my albums/artists. I had to go in and adjust all the ID3 tags to all 896 of my MP3's to match by artist (caps and all), Title, and respective album. I used the Album Art Downloader to put album art to each album. If I didnt know what the album was, I called them all part of a greatest hits album from that artist and it wasnt hard to find greatest hits album covers to the songs I couldnt find album info for.

Took me about 1 Day completely, but its all good now and I have no problems.

Trying to make things compatable for Centrafuse and for my audiotron at home.. Unfortunately 60% of my origional collection was wiped.. but still have over 11,000 songs (what ws in the truck).. but rebuilding slowly ..
What i'm looking for is screen shots or a cfg file for Mp3tag (v2.32a) that i can use easily as i expect this conversion will take days to cmplete..
would love the ideal album art settings as well...
currently i use a tree format.. for sorting things..
.mp3 (root directory)
...artist
......album
......album...

any help would be appriciated...
