ALways starts out loud

everytime I come back into windows from hybernate my disco music is LOUD for some reason...but I know I didnt leave it that loud..sup with that....anyone?

This happened to me when I changed from my on-board sound to a creative mp3+ external USB sound card. The sound card would play at 100% after returning frmo hibernation, and I would have to turn it down every time. I have gone back to the on-board sound.

You might try to update your soundcard drivers...

You could also use a utility like Frodo's setvol to set the volume levels on startup. Pair it with a utility like zPilott's DoIt (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/software-software-development/58933-hibernate-standby-resume-battery-ac-tool.html)
