Centrafuse 1.4: Raving Fan Thread

Installed Centrafuse yesterday afternoon, and drove 160km with it today to be in Sydney in time for the Sydney meet.

Verdict? Slick.

There are still a couple of items that make it clear that I'm dealing with a Beta, but on the whole, it achieved everything that I wanted.

Being able to flip between major elements (Radio, GPS, Media) quickly is a huge usability improvement.

More tuning to be done, but on the whole, this thing is completely professional from end to end.

Nice work.

And why it's so difficult for me to come up with a detailed response to the conversation that we've been having by email

I haven't forgotten

I can verify C4M is very happy with centrafuse. I saw it yesterday on his CarPC at the Sydney meet. I will also say that I am impressed with what you have done David. Good work.

its ok

i kid i kid! it rocks.. in between updates i installed frodoplayer and roadrunner, and quickly remembered why i switched to centrafuse, so far it has been the absolute best front end available, and with the plugin/sdk support coming up, you can bet it will be that much better!

david, even though everyone is on your jockstrap constantly about updates and what not, i feel it is because they so love this application and thoroughly enjoy using it and just want to see it that much better.

honestly? it is by far the most polished, professional frontend available. without even having to reskin the thing you could install this in nearly any high end car and would get looks of the good kind.

keep it up david.

p.s. was that too much arse kissing?

i like cf because it doesn't have too many features, saving a lot on the screen real estate on my 7-incher

who the f**k needs a photo viewer in their car anyway??

last thing though, cf needs satellite radio support. after that, cf can make the final version ready for deployment.

One of the things I appreciate most about CF is that handles most functions internally and doesn't rely on apps such as WinAmp or Media player.. also the configuration menus integrate seamlessly into the rest of the app making it visually clean and appealing..
