1.6 Bugs (sorry)
Ok sorry to bring this so soon just thought to post them as soon as i find them
1. i setup the size to 800x600. didn't like it put it back to 800x480 then the menu buttons did not function properly (Nav button whent to the phone phone button gave me the dvd)
2. in 800x600 mode and then TV the close button is half of the screen i attached an image. these are the bugs i just found in some quick testing when i get it in the car we will see. nothing big so far but bugs are still bugs.
3. dunno if its really a bug but when i select radio and press scan without a radio device attached it runs really slow.
one other thing maybe it would be nice to be able to just remove the media buttons in like NAV mode so you get a bit more map as the top bar (with media info etc) is quite large but this may be just skin issues.
one thing i noticed while playing music is when you select a song and press the play button it just plays the song you where playing and does not start playing the song you just selected like in 1.4.
other then that it looks very nice will the new Nav plugin (destinator 6) have TMC and speedcams? one other feature i like of our other car is the ability to give a short beep when you reach a certain (illegal :P) speed. map monkey has a warning but it stops the music and says a whole sentence. will give further updates when i put it in the car.

Also:
Can we have Single click button back? I dont want to have to click twice while selecting music whilst driving.
When clicking on Set GPS settings in the Destinator plugin bit, it does not show me the settings window?
edit: Destinator wont accept my current maps...

Hmm... I deinstalled 1.5 and deleted the old folder. Installed 1.6 and it doesn't accept my (newly generated for 1.6) serial. Running at trial mode now :-/
I'm missing single click too... But I have to say, most stuff is working really great.
Edit: ahh, the serials in the webinterface seem to be switched... I just tried the 1.5 serial from the webif and it's working!

I'm working on the serials problem... it seems I got something switched up last night... it was late...
I plan to look into adding single click back, but the way it was before wasn't right... The entire system is based on highlighting something, then performing an action... Making single click work in this environment is kinda hard...

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.
Also, there is no 852x480 resolution any more and the setup will not let me add it to that list

That's real bad news. I can't imagine any company putting an OEM Navi/onBoardComputer system that would require double tapping the screen. I mean, let's be honest, if we ever saw this on OEM, we would laugh at the fact

most OEM navi's etc use real buttons and not a touchscreen. i still like touchscreen but i would like to be able to control the whole interface with a powermate or something

Ok, is there some way to actually check to see if the XM is working? I set the XM up in the setup. Then when I go into the XM mode it just sits there and never gives me any audio. If I exit and go into my other software the XM comes right up. Just curious as if there was some other setting I needed to change.

Just need to set the device and comport and make sure the other application is closed. Which device? I only tested with the XMPCR because it is the device that I have. I code for the XMDIRECT, but there might be some bugs in the init code because I did not have a unit to test with before this release...
