How do you add songs to an exisiting playlist?
I've never really used the playlist feature, but I did today. I added a few songs and saved it. I let it play and then I went to add a new song to it by click the + symbol then save and it asked if I wanted to overwrite the existing one.
Can you add songs to an already created playlist or do you have to start a totally new one?
Quick question about the photo viewer.
I see that it utilizes the media library layout. When I click on photos it pulls up the approriate directory, I'm trying to figure out how to make them randomly slide? I see the slideshow button, but when I push it only shows one photo.

I also would like to know about adding to a playlist..
in 1.5 you could add a playlist to the queue then add songs to the queue and resave the queue as a playlist. you no longer can add a playlist to the queue

highlight the entire folder and hit play now, this will load all your photo's into the list... I still have some work to do on the picture viewer...
It was just making sure you wanted to overwrite... You essentially are starting over, but it works the same... You created a playlist, then added some more music, and resave as the same playlist name.... It will ask if you want to overwrite, but if you do it will update the playlist...

So steps are:
* Open existing playlist
* Open Media Manager
* Add Songs to media
* Save over existing playlist
?? Is this how it should work? -- to lazy to run to my car and test it right now =P

David,
But this means you are not adding songs to an existing playlist but are creating a new playlist from scratch each time? Am I correct about this?
It would be nice if you could load an existing playlist to the queue, then add the additional songs you want in that playlist, then save.

That's exactly what you do... It just pops up a dialog making sure you want to overwrite... The save dialog is prepopulated with the current playlist and all you do is hit save and enter...
I know it's a couple of extra clicks, but you shouldn't be building playlists while driving...

I wouldn't be building playlists while driving. It's just that some of us take a quite a bit of time building playlists. If, for example, I wanted to build a playlist called "Beach Music" I would have to add music from many different places. It would probably take a half an hour or more for me to populate the playlist. If I then wanted to add a couple of songs at a later date, I'd have to rebuild the whole playlist again.

no you don't... simply load the playlist by clicking on it and hitting play now... If you decide you want to add some music too it, click music manager again, add whatever music you want, and hit save... click ok to overwrite... it will have all the old music and the new stuff you added...

I must be doing something wrong, because each time I do that it deletes everything that was in the earlier playlist and replaces it with what I add.

I will look into seeing if there is a bug related to the saving...
