Honestly have hard time to belive that such a cool design as 1.3-1.5 and current one came from same hands...

The buttons are far better off on the right! (or left )
And the text bars are far too deep for the text size they contain...

The rest of the skin is smart and very readable on a dull lilli.

The GPS screen is missing some controls though over other solutions like Freedrive... There is no way to add favorites (that is obvious). There is no Speedcam support, and the GPS screen doesn't show your current speed, or at least if it is there it can't be seen whilst driving.
Can CF show GPS speed on any screen? It is very usefull.
I know you're waiting for a newer DestinatorSDK but surely most of these features would be easiy to port to the newer SDK when it arrives.

Also the blue bar at the lower of the screen is a complete waste of space. The sat signal indicator could be put in the top bar like online status, and a click on that would take you to gps settings.

As was said above, on a widescreen monitor vertical space is at a premium, so it doesn't make sense to have buttons horizontally at the expense of map size... The map is what the GPS screen is all about so it should be useable in both normal view and FS.

What about only showing current track playing info for 5 seconds as the track changes. Then fade away again?

I think the main drop down menu button would be useful in GPS FS mode
