The only time I have had this problem is when I was playing around with embedding windows and making a drive read-only. Are you trying to do something like that? Running out of space or disk write problems can produce this effect as well. I would start with your error log to see if centra is producing any errors.

I checked my error log and its clean. I haven't changed anything lately however my phonecontrol.net expired and that seems like when it started happening.

Hey Geddy!

I had a simliar problem a while ago with 1.5. It turned out one of my xml files was not well formed (somehow this happened...I still dont know..perhaps I did it).

Try getting the free edition of XMLSpy (www.altova.com) and open each of your xml settings file and check if they are valid. My problem was that there carriage return where it shouldn't be.

Here's another wild possiblity, maybe your system doesnt shut down correctly?

Let us know.

i downloaded XMLspy and stared at it for about two hours and i still cant figure out how to do anything with it. Do you think a fresh install of 1.6 would correct my problem? The problem is there whether i shut it down correctly or not. Its driving me nuts because weird al "like a surgeon" plays every time i start my car.

Email me all of your xml files in the Centrafuse\system folder.

I'll take a look at them for you.
While your at it...send me the Centrafuse\error.log file too.

Also, move all of the folders\plugins from Centrafuse\plugins to Centrafuse\pluginsinactive that you dont use. I think the destinator gps plugin doesn't help much. (I prefer iguidance and alttabber)

If you decide to re-install. do the un-installl and delete the Centrafuse directory. Then, re-install.
