Music Visualizations
Does centrafuse use the same visualization files that windows media player does?
Or does it have it's own file format and extension so one wouldn't be able to just drag and drop new visualizations?
Thanks

It uses sonique and in 1.7 it will also support ultraplayer visualizations.

Did you decide if later you will add winamp support? There are so many for winamp that are really cool. Please if you can

Hey, Thanks for the replies, now I can look up some cool visualizations to add.
Before I posted the topic I did a quick search that turned up nothing, I must have spelt it wrong in my rush.
Support for other visualizations like ones coded for winamp (as above) and maybe wmp, but more so winamp, would be awesome.

I did have winamp support in at one point during development, but it was very unstable. The way the winamp visualizations work with their handles and their window does not work very well with Centrafuse.
This is why I went with sonique and ultraplayer. If you search the thread some people found some links and posted them to sites with visuals.

I can get other sonique visulizations to work for centrafuse, but cannot get ultra player, do I need to do something specific, what extension does the ultraplayer visuals need to be?
NVM I tried another ultraplayer visual and it works... guess some work and others dont

I have downloaded a ton of different visuals and tested them, here is a collection of the ones that I found worked the best for me, some work better in the mini mode and some look better in full screen, but they all work with CF for me.
Just extract all the files into the "Visuals" directory
(C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\Visuals)
CF-Visuals.zip
~Enjoy!

I have download some visualizations too, some work better than others... Is david going to have a visualization download page next to the plugins on his site? I can provide some of the visualizations I have found that were originally for sonique. Just let me know.

Here are some more visuals you can use...
some require a lot of proccesor power and some are just written bad, but you can work through them and find some good ones...
http://support.xmplay.com/file.php?cat_id=6
they should all work with CF, but cannot guarantee that...

For biger mini visualization, I will try to make this skin for test:
See here
David, do you see an objection. If it is just for try, does it agree with CF skin clones RULES or not?
