1.7 Coming along... Bug Question though
I had a bug on my list that was simply written:
"check for : in tag reading import"
Does anyone know why I have this on my list? I would have gotten it from one of the threads, bug I can't find the thread. I do not see why this would break the inserts into the database or mess up sorting in anyway.
Can anyone think of why this is on my list of things to fix or does the person who reported it remember why?

Sounds like a problem if there's a : in one of the MP3 ID3 tag fields... or something with the library import?

that is what I though too, so I tested it and you can have : in a song title or album name and it works...
looks like I should have written more information about the bug

starting to look that way... who knows... I guess if it's a problem someone will report it in 1.7 bug thread....
8 more bugs to go!
I will update the thead tonight after I work all night, hopefully that number will go even lower...
One big thing I have to wait on is one updated DLL from Destinator that is coming next Tuesday... I should have all my bugs worked out by then... So hopefully integrated the new DLL will be a breeze and we will be off to the races...
If it makes anyone feel better all the testers I have sent 1.7 too have been finding very little bugs, and the ones they have found I have already fixed... It should be one of the most stable releases yet...

Thanks for the update David. It's been so hard to keep my mouth shut during this long wait for 1.7, but I'm doing pretty well! Hopefully just a few more days to go, and not weeks/months -- so glad to hear a better version is coming along.
Maybe I will find time to finish the Lexus (Nexus) skin for CF once 1.7 is released.

Very Exciting, i received the new iGuidance v3.0 today and it seems to work fine with CF
