Explorer window in CF?

Is it possible that I can open an 'explorer' window as an embedded application in centrafuse? Like being able to look through my documents or something similar? I want to also embed my Bluetooth OBEX file transfer program so I can transfer music, photos, etc. between my carputer and cell phone while im in the truck.

they did? What's it called? Where can I find it? Would I be able to make a button that can send files to a specific folder? my phone will only play mp3s if they are in a specific folder on the memory stick, so I can't just send the files 'to bluetooth device'

you could just go to the internet on CF, and in the address bar type something like c:/>... and go from there?

I just think a bluetooth manager would be great (for files transfer) as a plugin or direct with phoco or hard coded in CF...For example you take photographs with your mobile phone and tra ....nsfer them into your PCCAR and see pics with CF pics viewer

You can embed any window you want.

I embed BlueSoleil, Explorer, iGuidance, Google Earth, TMO Datalogger, Girder, Active WebCam, NetStumbler, and more.

Set Explorer to single-click mode with large icons and large tool-bar buttons. It works pretty good. There is also a project on here somewhere that is a skinnable file-browser, but I don't think it was ever completed and it has been scraped now.

Bummer to hear it got scrapped. That would have been a cool app. I'll give it a shot using the large icons. What should I use as the application path?

Um... c:\windows I guess. If you do it through the CF interface you will have to browse to c:\windows\explorer.exe. Then add "c:" as a parameter if you want it to start off there, or c:\doc&set\[name]\desktop if you want it to start on your desktop like I do. For the window name you should put whatever apears in the title bar of the folder you want to start off with ie: "Desktop" or "c:\doc&set\[name]\Desktop" depending on how you have windows configured)
