Change behaviour Volume control

Hello David,
Several pro-audio cards bypass the windows volume control, making it impossible to adjust volume in centrafuse. Only way is through settings and change 'pre-amp' volume. Can you make an option for altering the behaviour of the volume control buttons? So buttons don't control windows volume but FE pre-amp or wave volume?
Maybe you've already set up 1.7 doing this...
Thanks!
Sebastian
