CF 1.7 Day Skin?
Hey all,
Has everyone but me seen the new Day skin? I can't seem to get it to appear! I have the times set in the Genreal settings: Day switch time = 8 AM and night switch time = 8 PM. I have tried this with the Auto Switch Skins button set bot on and off, but I have yet to see the day skin! Am I missing something?

There is a bug in the auto switch... The machine has to be on at the exact time it's suppose to switch...
You can manually switch to the day skin by holding down the dim button for 4 seconds...

also this button should be fixed !!
the event should fire on button down not button up, the skin is being changed when you remove your finger off the button which is not good cuz in this case i cant know if i reched 4 sec or not !!
and by the way 4 sec is tooooooooo much!!!

We are looking into a better solution... The reason is because if you hold it down for 2 seconds, the screen will black out completly, if you hold it down for 4 seconds the skin changes...
It use to be 2 seconds and on down after 2 seconds it auto blacked out... We just last minute needed a place to put the manual skin change and that is where it ended up...

Audio feedback would work well for that. Make one beep after 2 secs reached, make 2 beeps after 4 secs reached.

Just a feature that was asked for at one point, maybe I don't need it... It was just if you didn't have access to a power button for your screen because it was custom installed in your dash, you have a way to black the screen out during the night if you don't want the bright screen...

While on this topic, David, why did you choose double click for Screensaver-Fullscreen mode? Why not just click-hold like all the other buttons? I don't think it's consistent, and never know if I should hold here, or double click there, etc... just a thought, consistency is key in user interface

I love the black out screen use it all the time. Because I deliver Pizzas and at night when I need to find an address it makes it alot eater to see peoples houses. Please Please Please Dont remove it. I like it where its at and I also like how you have it set up in 1.7. But i think it would be good as: Hold down 2 sec let up turns black. To change skin hold down for 4 seconds after 4 secs it changes without letting the button up. Just my opinion.
