I tried every driver that they have, even the newest ones that are only listed on the korean website... trust me, I am desperate to get this working.
I did what you reccomended, and tried sending into hibernation without music loaded in the media player (nothing appeared at the top scrolling, and no sound out of the card). The same thing happened - it would not go into hibernation and simply froze, forcing me to hard reset the machine.
I did some further testing with WMP, and it seems to go into and out of hibernation just fine. Nothing strange there.
I am willing to send you my card, but I cannot imagine you would want to mess with one specific piece of hardware just for me and possibly a few others down the road.
Any other reccomendations? I'll try anything!

So when you remove the card from the machine it works fine?
I'm not sure... Maybe we will get lucky in RC2... Does it create an error.log file?

Yes, that is correct. As soon as I remove the card it hibernates just fine.
Are there any USB soundcards that work with the mixer to control the front, rear, and sub levels that you suggest?

Just about any should work fine... I'm not sure which are the best, I generally use onboard... I have never had the problems you mentioned with noise...
As for front/rear/sub control, you just need any card that has drivers that place those controls in the playback section of the windows mixer... That is for them to work, or be controlled, right now...
Some drivers place these in an "Other" section of the mixer, which I do not support yet, but I will be adding next go around after RC2...

The quality of onboard doesn't suffice. I found a creative audigy se that is low profile, but its only marginally better than the onboard solution.
I put back my audiotrak card in hopes that RC2 would help... Unfortunately, I get the same issues.
Sometimes it won't even allow it to go into hibernation, other times it will, but once it pulls out, I get a lovely blue screen and the computer restarts. Occasionally it will pull out of hibernation and CF will still be open, but the media player portion will be dead completely. I try and try to make media play, but nothing works. On the rare occasion that it pulls out of hibernation, I get this OBDII error in the log.

I won't have any use for the OBD plugin, so somehow killing it wouldnt bother me if I could get my soundcard working!
Thanks for the help so far! I really love CF and am dying to get it working with my hardware setup.

Mine used to work perfectly but now loads up with a blank playlist. If I hit play though, it starts where it left off and playlist populates itself most times... Sometimes I have to go and recreate it
Try pressing play first though, even if it appears theres nothing selected to play

David thinks these problems are all related to single click, and buttons that hold... Working on fix right now

Yeah, the 2 people that posted have known issues with solutions that are being worked on... my .net/hardware problem is still a mystery!
I am going to try to install the card into a different computer to see if that helps, but I have a feeling the drivers for the soundcard just do not like resuming with .net stuff running at the same time.
Still no word on that error I was getting though?? the obdii thing? I noticed you mentioning that has something to do with resuming and renabling some things after coming out of hibernation?
