Hi,

I know you are going to release a list of recommened hardware when CF is final but i want to get the AM/FM radio to work as sometimes i want to navigate and listen to radio and that doesn't work if you have to switch the headunit all the time.

so what radio hardware should i use? btw i live in the netherlands if that makes a difference :P

It also takes a lot of work to get a car computer running

If you use the proper antenna adapter, the HQCT will be the best option, if you can wait for David to integrate it with CF.

So clarify it for me. The HQCT is just a piece of hardware that you connect (via USB?) to the computer and fix an antenna to it and its a radio in CF when david intergrates it? Or do i need to solder thing myself etc :P?

btw whats so good about HQCT?

Yes, that's basically correct. You will not need to do any sodering.

What's good about the HQCT is that it uses an actual car tuner, which was optimized for a car. So it has quality comparable to a normal head unit.
