New bug.

I just hibernated with CF Nexus running on the media screen. When I came back to my car, it started with the windows desktop. I guess CF crashed as disappeared during the hibernate process so that on resume it was already gone.

Is there a log file I can post to find out what the hell happened?

This is the entire contents of my error.log (despite numerous crashes and problems of many different types).

Code:
8/9/2006 1:18:57 PM The system cannot find the file specified at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfo startInfo) at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start() at centrafuse.appembed.embedApp() ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It happened again today... when I started my car, I was greeted with the windows desktop instead of CF (which was most definatly running when I hibernated, and my PC did resume from hibernate... it wasn't a fresh boot).

This time I went strait to the CF folder to get the error.log before running CF again. To my surprize, there was no error.log file at all. I didn't delete the old one who's contents are posted above. Why does CF delete its own error.log file?

It currently deletes the error.log on startup so it does not get over filled, this was for earlier releases... This will be removed, but the idea is if a bug is discovered by a tester then the user should exit Centrafuse, then reopen Centrafuse and be able to reproduce that bug, then send me the error.log file, which I know is only related to that bug...

I understand. However, is there any way for be to help you de-bug what is going on in my car? Every 10 hibernates or so, it resumes with the windows desktop instead of CF, and no error.log file.

If there is no error.log then there was no error in Centrafuse, that is weird behaviour...

I'm not sure where we should start to debug... Let me think about it... Try standby and see if it happens or you can reproduce it by doing it over and over...

Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Has anyone else noticed that the in the NAV module, current location, current speed, and ETR ETA don't work in RC1?

I get a GPS speed of -9mph when Im doing 30mph

And current street is always blank!

Just posted this up as seen no mention of it in RC1 Fixes and known RC2 issues.
