Build a route in the house...

Is there anyway to build a route in the house and then transfer it to the car

Its much easier to do it on a big screen and with a mouse and keyboard, and then copy relevant files to USB stick and then either copy files to car, or have CF check USB memory for routing info.

Just a thought

Just install centrafuse on your home computer and plan a trip. Than copy the folder C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\Common\MPR to your carputer. That's the folder where your trip is saved to. I haven't tested it but I think this would work!

will try this.

It would be cool if CF's built in NAV could scan a USB storage device looking for the MPR folder and if found copy it to CF

This is all the kinds of features the Centrafuse Desktop Application will have... Adding music, buying music, creating playlists, syncing with your car, building routes, etc...

This will not be developed until after the first version of Centrafuse is finished...

I always thought that this would be a nice idea! "CF Central/Centrafuse Server" to be run on a home PC.

Would allow you to change settings of CF in Car, que up music/videos to be sync'd, create routes, download saved cam files to Home PC, add POI's, Download Routing History/Trip details and OBD2 logs, installing skins/plugins, editing skins. etc.

All this sounds wicked, I can't wait but it looks like I might have to

For now I'll stick to trying out the workarounds like MPR folder
