Any way to turn CF's back button into...

a cd-player like back button? Where if it's pushed during the song, it'll start the song over, if it's pushed at the beginning of the song, like within the first 4 or 5 seconds then it goes to the previous track?

This is exactly how the previous track button should be working...

That's how mine works as well. Just like a standard CD player.

Strange... maybe I'm just a retard...

I'll pay closer attention to wtf is happening.

I do have quite a few strange little quirks. Still haven't gone thru with a wipe and reload yet. Guess I'll start there.

Alright, think I've figured it out, dunno why I didn't notice this before. CF, as it was creating the song database or whatever it does, lists every single song twice. So I was hitting the back button, thinking it was just restarting the song over and over.

Breakdown -
Hit back button - started over song
hit it again - went to previous song in playlist, which was actually the same song
hit it again - started that song over
hit it again - when back to previous track

Guess I need to redo my music database thingy. Yay for me!
