Can't get XM to work

I can't get XM to work in RC3. When I select XM, all I get is an echo of the last sound played before selecting XM and then fades to silence. If I tap the screen and the computer makes a sound, it will start echoing again and fade away. There is never any XM audio. If I unmute the line-in by going into the Windows audio settings, I can hear XM audio and CF is able to switch stations fine. However, I haven't gotten audio to work without leaving CF to unmute the line in. My sound card is the Sound Blaster Live 24-bit external USB.

Go to the recording section of your sound card and make sure line in is selected, it is suppose to select automatically...

Then mute line in in playback section of the mixer...

Then it should work, RC3 has improvements with accessing the mixer, hopefully it will fix why it did not select the line-in in recording automatically...

Thanks for the response. I already tried this but it still doesn't work. Everytime I check, the mixer always switches the recording to "What U Hear" every time I select XM on CF. Could it be because my line-in for recording isn't called Line-in? The Windows mixer calls it line-in/mic-in.

So does loading the mixer and selecting the line-in select check box fix the issue in Centrafuse?

Is it that Centrafuse just unchecks it everytime you click the button?

RC3 might have this fixed possibly... I did some work on the mixer in RC3...
