Questions re DVD Playback

I'm having problems playing DVDs from my external DVD player. When I hit the DVD button in CF, the DVD screen comes up with the appropriate buttons at the bottom, but there is no audio or video.

I haven't done much with CF and DVD playback to date, so maybe I'm a little behind the learning curve. Should CF be able to play DVDs without me loading any other software or is there something else I need to load, such as CODECs? I checked posts from a while back that indicated third party programs such as WinDVD or PowerDVD should be installed, but I don't know if that still applies to the new version.

Thanks in advance.

You need DVD software installed with the Beta's, commercial Centrafuse will have one included...
