I'd like to see vehicle voltage added to the OBD-II plugin. Most (if not all) ELM compatible readers can supply the current electrical systems volatage by sending the ATRV command. It's not supplied by the OBD-II, but the ELM module itself so it won;t slow the OBD read rate as typically the baud between the PC and the module is alot faster than the OBD protocol...

I think innovate-motorsports have a SDK released for writing apps for ECU tuning etc

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support.php

I can't program so maybe someone out there can find it useful, I'd love to get something like the Skyline for my Subi, and now that I've gain a liking to CF, I'm keen to see what plugin options there are for the tactrix cable & Subaru's

Umm, but understand that not all stock ECUs are capable of being tuned.

The Innovate API is a shell that gives a programmer common access to after-market ECUs from folks like MegaSquirt, OpenPort, Xede... It's doesn't allow for someone to start hacking on the ECU in your (for example) Prius.

The OBDII in the case for Subaru uses Subaru Select Monitor (SSM) which is a protocol used to monitor various engine parameters in Subaru vehicles from roughly 2000-2008.

There are a few projects going round, just hoping someone could add some love in CF for it.

The SSM protocol is relatively simple and I've attached a PDF on it for thoses interested
