Stuck with expired CF
I had CF running as a shell in my carputer, but I took it out for awhile and haven't used it. now I've booted my carputer up and it goes straight into CF, but the beta license has expired, so CF closes and I'm stuck. How can I disable "run in shell" on CF so I can uninstall the old CF and install a new version to use?

try taking the drive out of the carPC and connect it as a secondary drive on your home PC and then work from there.

Yes, search forums, it was recently discussed. You press ctrl-alt-del, then File > New Task > Run and then type Explorer. Take it from there and see if it helps, or search forum for more detailed instructions from David.
Hope this helps!!

Incidentally, David: Might want to consider disabling the 'launch to CF' feature when the license expires, so that next boot will launch windows. Can you add that in the procedure?

Thanks guys! I knew there was something I could do with the Task Manager, but I wasn't sure what it was. I ended up sticking the drive in my home PC and just installing the new CF on my home PC, but the idea to launch to windows once the license expires would really help some of us n00bs out!
