I am not against it, but will have to design the control and modify the skin and test it...

we plan to stabilize the application and core components first, then work on feature additions...

Slider V2

Second purpose:

NO SKIN changes

I think this second way is the better :

No skin chages
There wasn't any function of this part of the skin (the part where the slider is purposed)
The problem is that piece of skin is only available on video play.....

I know it is not the priority (bugs fixes first) nut for future test on slider, i think it would be the easiest way.

I don't know it is a code problem.

The only problem is time and for slider David thought (or still think) that the skin has to be modded...what takes a lot of time and ressources (the designer).

I agree with you, slider would had been in CF since ages but it still not. But please be constructive find with us a way to add/test slider with the less moddifications needed fo this.

Like I already said add the code to CF and add it to your CF skin later. That way all of us can do what we want to do thats the point of car computers anyway. We all have are own ideas and all can work great if you just add the actual simple piece of code to it......... BTW that post below mine with the picture is something I made really quick....

1. this is a nice addon idea

2. CF is "framework" - so mbkowns is right - it should be implementable (and implemented) by the community

3. Flux "needs money" (I would guess) so "release the next stable version" is mission Nr.1 (following then adding new features)

4. I don't want to sound like a ....
(I don't have an english word for this - dammit incomplete school english!!!) but: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cf-plugins/71327-vb-net-plugin-new-concepts.html

david,

I am so sad to see that Progress bar is not listed in "Future Features" list.

look at this poll

I guess it will be implemented in future version (2.0 ???).

no, I should have that on future features... I thought I already did, I haven't updated it in awhile...

It's on the future features list on my desktop, I will update the post as soon as I can....

I plan to make this available to skinners in the current version...

note: It will be after the initial launch, but sent out with an update...

david
