Scrolling idea: wrap it!

I had an idea for scrolling text... how about continuous wrap-around?

So... If you have:
"This is a long song title that would scroll"
It would go though something like:
Code:
This is a long song title his is a long song title t is is a long song title th s is a long song title tha ... itle that would scroll T tle that would scroll Th le that would scroll Thi e that would scroll This

??? I'm talking about a different way to scroll the text, not the speed of the scroll.

Right... it's just another idea versus scrolling first to last, pause, reset to first, repeat. This would be a continuous scroll.

I implemented it on the device we manufacture here and I thought it was an interesting alternative.

I see... I will look into it...

At one point in some previous version if you set the scroll delay to zero I ran different code that did just this... it didn't go back to start and scroll again, but scrolled constantly...

did you try?

If not I see what you mean and maybe I will look into making it work this way if the scroll delay is zero...

Currently if you select 0 as soon as it finishes scrolling it resets to the start of the title.

Running 1.0.0 here would like this feature too it makes it a little bit more "polished" if you know what I mean, as would waiting for the song to scroll off the screen before resetting the display.
