So the current "TEST" version everyone is running - is it set to expire at some point or is it just not so complete?

I will post all the information...
Every test version that has been released only worked for 4 months, including this latest 1.1 release...
The discount will be available for a month and be made for all registered users at Flux, possibly require a forum registration... We will not be picking and choosing who gets it and who doesn't, it will be a very loose discount for all the testing and the information about how to obtain it will be posted here...
If you have been here a year or a week it will not matter...
The SE and XE versions will still come with the same trial Destinator that is included with the current test version in 1.1, enough said... This is unless Destinator tells me to not include it which they have not...
We will be updating the site to show all the map coverage areas very soon... It will be similiar to the detail panel on XE/XLE for showing the supported phones, there will be a link for map coverage regions...
I hope to get this in before CeBit, but might not... I am focusing on testing the updater ASAP... Hopefully tonight or tomorrow...
Then updating the known issues thread after the updater has been tested...
david

And finally to clarify - all the plugins that are compatible with 1.1 will work with the retail version, right?

I'd also like to know when the next time would be that we'd have to purchase a new license (i.e. Version 2, Version 3, "next major update," Centrafuse Vista, etc. etc.)

It is a hard coded date, so 4 months from when I released it... I will have to open it up to get the exact date, but I believe it's the end of May for 1.1
There will be an updated version of Centrafuse for running on Vista shortly after initial launch, you will not be charged for which platform you run on...
Also all updates will be free... You would not be charged again unless there was a major update such as Centrafuse 2...

All plugins should work fine... I am not making any major changes to the SDK and the free plugins will remain on the site, I hope to add more...
The up keep of these plugins is up to the Author, but the current plugins will work with the commercial version...
I put no limits or restrictions on free plugin development and try to always make the SDK backwards compatible...

Great thanks.
One more question. Let's say I buy XE and decide 6 or so months from now that I want to upgrade to XLE. I'd only have to pay the difference, right?

discount prices is explained above...
We plan to offer upgrades, but have not worked out the details... It would be something similiar to what was explained, it's just not currently coded into the store yet, but we plan to...
