USB radios suck by design. They are all bad.

HQCT is the only option right now other than a HU.

HQCT will work with CF?
In CF i can't find a option to select HQCT as radio.
If i can use HQCT with CF - i'll buy it

With a`n extern antenna? Im searching for a good USb radio solution too. The price for HQCT is a bit to high

So CF is working good with the silabs radio?

BTW: Is this radio working with CF? Its constructed in the same way like the silabs but maybe it has different drivers who are not working with cf?

Support for HQCT was removed in version 1.10 b/c they didn't think anyone was using it. There is discussion for bringing it back.

ThaTool, you may want to check out this thread in the Fluxmedia forums and you can let David know that you also want HQCT back for the next version of CF.

Not sure about the reason, but it's not there for the moment. It will be back though, as David is re-writing the plugin afaik.

Don't bother with the ADS one in the link... I personally tried it after reading a couple reviews. The reception is also horrible with this one. Not sure what these reviewers were listening to.

EDIT: The ADS one is based on the SiLabs stick. The above that I mentioned pertains only to my testing it on my Car PC. Today I tried it inside on my laptop, and it does in fact get very good reception. The input jack for the external antenna appears to be a standard male SMB connection (I can't verify this 100% until I plug an SMB female end into it). With that being said, I am going to attempt to locate (or fabricate) an adapter that will allow me to connect my stock antenna connector to the input of this stick. If I can get my car's antenna hooked up to this, I'll be fully in business. (Except that CF does not support this stick... I plan to make a Radiator plugin for it once I get to that point though).

EDIT AGAIN: The connector is MCX, not SMB.

I have solved my problem with ADS Tech Radio. I had to download another USBRadio.dll, now it works with Radiator.

But some problems with Radiator:

#1: When I listen radio and change to Media i hear a noise. Its because Radiator only gets muted when playing Media. Any ideas to fix this noise? I played around with soundmixer but its the same sound channel like media musik (wave).

#2: After hibernate my radiator will not play a sound. I have to restart radiator then it works fine again. I played around with some hibernate tools (closing radiator on hibernate/starting radiator after resume) but i cant set a delay in this tools (like HibernateTrigger). When radiator load directly after resume its not working too. But when i start radiator after 10 seconds it works. (maybe the Radio driver isnt loaded so fast)

A possible solution for both problems is closing radiator when clicking on media/dvd. This would be davids part

Dudeness, can you tell me where to get the other USBRadio.dll? I have this unit as well and would love to play around with it in CF to see how it works.
