XM Revamp???

David,

Have you had a chance yet to start looking at the XM code in CF as you indicated a couple weeks back?

My XM performance just continues to get worse with the resource error messages mentioned in many posts over at the FM forums. Today, all I went to do was turn the volume up - the volume window appeared, and never went away. About 3 mins or so later, I got the resource error. The pain in the *ss about today's issue was that the volume window was on top of the ok button for the resource error so I couldn't even hit ok to kill CF. I was just stuck with a frozen app (I was in fullscreen) and couldn't remedy the situation until I got to my destination and parked, at which point I was able to get the keyboard out and do Ctrl-Alt-Del to manually kill CF. Now I've once again gone back to non-fullscreen mode for CF b/c chances are that something is going to come up that will require me to kill it.

I like CF a lot, but the XM module is just unacceptable. I have no use for a frontend that does not function well with XM since that's what I'm using the majority of the time in the car. XtremePCR is what I use for XM right now because it is a flawless performer. I don't understand why CF can't operate the same way with my PCR.
