Centrafuse 1.2 won't leave setup

I just installed CF 1.2 and everytime I start it asks me to go through setup. I only see the 4 pages of general setup and the save and cancel button.
If I press "Save" CF prompts to overwrite current settings, I let it do that and it stays on the same screen. "Cancel" cancels setup and terminates program. There is no way to move on to the next setup steps, or just end setup and go to the program itself.

How do I get out of the vicious cycle? 1.13 worked beautifully ...

Thanks,
Mark

nothing should have changed... Look in your LocalAppData folder under Centrafuse for the error.log file and email to support, or post it here...

also did you fully uninstall the previous version of Centrafuse?

It is having trouble saving your settings...

Doh

You are right... Forgot to uninstall the previous version - all is well again, thank you!

Now I have another question.
I have recently switched from Audigy NX to the Advantage Roadie for my sound device. And now CF won't let me adjust the volume.

If I press the vol. up/down buttons on the lower left of the screen it just says Volume Min and won't adjust anything. If, however, I go the mixer it will let move the slider and will prepoerly adjust the Master Volume, but not Wave Out, what am I doing wrong?

Also, it won't let me adjust Front/Rear even though it looks like it recognized that my sound card is setup to 4 speakers. Whenever I adjust front or rear the sliders just bounce back to original setting.

The rear/sub might not work with your soundcard, many drivers have moved this away from the Windows mixer which is what Centrafuse supports...

The MIN issue with volume can be solved most likely if you disable control Rear/Sub in settings...

Thanks

That's what I figured... I still have to see how it is exposed through the Mixer APIs, one of these days.

Removing the Master and Control Rear fixed the volume issue, thanks!
