Destinator ETA and maps.

Hey Dave
I believe I have found a bug in Destinator navigation CF 1.2.
I have been on vacation In Spain and have been driving there in my car from Denmark and back (7200 km total driving) and it was a perfect trip to test CF and my car pc..
I entered my destination and the ETA was approximately 14 hours driving – Year right bur the trip is for 3200 km.
The error is If the trip is more than 24 hours its start from zero again i.e. trip 38 hours 38-24 = 14 hours..
Another thing. I have installed my maps for Scandinavia, Germany, France, Spain and map for all major roads in Europe. But on the screen is only the map witch I’m driving in.
If you then like I drive a great distance through many countries, and like to see the road all the way by the means of the map “all major roads in Europe” you have to delete the other maps as the program auto load the map witch you are driving in again.
This means that if you have the maps for the countries you drive in, you don’t need this map.
I believe that default map shod bee “all major maps in Europe” fixed in the program and load other maps by auto when need to be used.
Finally in the Danish translation a Exit on the freeway is translated to “Afslut” think this shout also be EXIT. This is the normal used word for an exit on the freeway.

I will fix the ETA issue, that is a bug...

In order to view the map you have to go into Planner mode, then load EURoads, then you can view the entire map... As soon as you switch back to navigation mode it will start auto loading the maps again...

Yea I know.
But is it not possible to have i.e. 2 maps loaded.
As If you drive over the border to another country i.e. from Spain to France and the next exit on the freeway is just on the other side of the border, you miss it while Destinator needs time for loading the new map. Also then you only use the map all major roads in Europe for planning and never for navigation?? So way have it?
For planning I just load the map for the country and enter my destination, switch back to navigation. And my root is made. Destinator loads the maps it have to use whit out my influence. The best thing is to have a fix map and a “auto load map” if you get the drift

This is Destinator's model, not Flux Media's...

The EURoads is still the best way to plan a route across multiple maps, it plans the best route because it has all the data available...

This map is also used when you purchase the 1 major country + EU major roads package, which we do not offer yet but we are working to offer it... This would give you one detailed map for the country of your choice, plus the EURoads map for when you travel that has all the major roads...
