Destinator Freezes System when I press "Menu" or "Where To" (sometimes).

I want to switch from iGuidance to Destinator and this is the only thing stopping me.

When I am in the Navigation screen and press "Menu" or "Where To," Centrafuse locks up. This only happens occasionally. Music still plays in the background, but the touchscreen does not respond, and driving in my car does not move the gps cursor. I am using CF1.2 with the 1.47 update. I have no way to do a ctrl+alt+del in my system, but putting the system into hibernation, then resuming unfreezes the system back to normal.

The last time this happened was a while back and I forgot to check the error.log file. I have no idea how to reproduce the issue, as it only happens occasionally.

Anyone have any ideas what to try? I am completely out of ideas.

are you running Vista?

by any chance if you can verify next time this happens if you have a keyboard, try to hit alt-tab...

I think this is a focus issue that happens with these dialogs sometimes in Vista...

Nope, this is with XP SP2. It's very random, but I will see if I can reproduce the issue again.

still might be the same issue, this is actually one of the only issues I'm still trying to fix before the next release...

in the few times I have reproduced it, hitting alt-tab showed the dialog again... It was a strange issue with the dialog getting hidden after it loads...

see if you can reproduce and have a keyboard to try alt-tab for me, and I'm also trying to track this one down for sure...
