CF + WMA + M10000 = Massive Slowdown
Has anyone noticed this?
When CF tries to play WMA files, then CF becomes very slow and the only solution is to reboot. There is a huge lag between pressing a button and then having CF recognize it and make the button beep sound. Closing CF and then relaunching it without a reboot doesnt do anything.
I think it must be because I am running a VIA EPIA M10000, which I read has high cpu useage when playing wma's. But I dont see any fixes. This did not happen with my old Celeron 850.
Also, the wma songs I have tested with are encoded at fairly high bitrates and also have chinese unicode encoded id3 tags. But I doubt that is the problem.
