I have a weird problem. Everything works fine on my desktop. In the car however, when CF opens, there is just the blank background, no text, the buttons make the click sound but do nothing. Since it works on my desktop, I tried zipping up the whole flux media folder on my desktop and transfering it to the car. No worky. I'm lost as to what to do now.

Win2k or XP? I'm having the same issue on a 2k PC I installed it on.

Have you actually tried running the installer on the target machine?

I am also having the issue where it stops after every song. I'm just trying this on my laptop for now ... I'll have to try it in the car in a bit.

Sorry, I meant to say that I have tried it with this setting on and off and it made no difference.

david

Great to hear! The re-write is definately much faster which is a big plus.

EDIT: found another error...when holding my finger down on the play list, it gives me an error that says something about bold not supported by font "DE Drover" and gives me a big red X over the playlist area.

David, perhaps we need to update our .net framework?

David, to keep things consistant throughout the program I'd suggest reversing that button. Seeing that we 'click' it, it should be labled to show us what action will be performed. I think the status should be displayed up at the top of the screen. If paused, have "PAUSED" all in caps. Then, we would click '>' to resume. Just advise, what does everyone think?

the status for play/pause should already be up there... I will look into switching them... need to think about it for a little bit...

Biggest thing for me is not going to next track - I've spent most of today getting it looking the way I want ready for the car, and now finally got most of my apps running down the sidebar the way I've wanted them for ages!!!

If anyone has any idea how to fix the next track tell me what I'm doing wrong!!!

David, does it auto-move to next track for you?

I have the same set of dependancies as the previous CF release

the move next track has worked for months and works with the version in my car, but I just installed the setup from the web and it does not work... I am tracking it down right now... something I changed getting ready for the release in the last couple of days somehow messed it up... I plan on working on all the major bugs posted and getting an update out really soon...
