Then the repeat isn't working as it is supposed to with mp3's..
I've had repeat activated since install and been listening
to quite alot of music while fiddling with CF..
Just tried it again.. Skips to next song as I believe it should with music
Turned of repeat and it works exactly the same..
Thus, repeat has NO function for music.. :P

You're right! I guess I was just going by the assumption that repeat works like it did in 1.3.

No, it's not you. And I don't know if there's anything he can do about it, either. Other than having CF pause at hibernate, and unpause after. I'm assuming it's a problem with the way Windows resumes. It's playing what it had left in the audio cache just before hibernation, then it 'hangs' while everything is resuming, then starts up again. Mine always does it right before CF comes back up on the screen as Windows still has the 'resuming windows' bar on the bottom.

the version in my car wakes up fine from hibernation... I will look into this though... I was about to add a pause on hibernate and unpause on resume anyway... so I can have it fade back in on resume...

David, on the resume from hibernation thing, I get a nice fade in already. Unless I'm mistaken on what you were refering to and what Jahntassa was refering to; I'd say that already works.
Good job on everything btw. I'm loving this new version, however 1.2 rocked the house too
Thanks.

As far as the jittering after hibernate, I originally had this problem when using NMC. It would last aproximately 10 seconds or more, unless i paused it and then resumed. I switched to Frodoplayer and did not have that problem. Haven't noticed it in any Centrafuse versions either. I could not pinpoint what caused it.
Good idea on the fade in on pause. That would be a great addition on resuming from hibernate as well. I currently use a program that will run a script before hibernate to drop the volume to a low level so that it doesn't blast if i left it loud when i had shut it off.
The new Always on top function in 1.4 works with my GPS most of the time, though it still blocks some of my windows. How does the On Top determine what windows should be on top?

I can only guarantee functionality of the ontop feature with the integrated parts of Centrafuse... When it comes to embedded apps I have no control of their dialogs...

What program do you use to achieve this?

Frodo wrote a little command line app ( SetVolume - links directly to Frodo's download, hope that's ok) that changes the volume levels; I run it via a minimized batch file on startup to do the same thing as S7347H.

CF sometimes goes to 100% CPU usage and becomes very slow. Sometimes it takes minutes to respond to a button press. The strange part is that the music files play fine during this time. It seems that this happens when I am quickly advancing through songs when shuffle is on.

thank you. BTW I did not have this problem in 1.2.
Also to have the system unpause the media with the volume about 90% decrease then before it went into hybernation would be very nice.

to run a program before or after hibernate, i use a program called suspendtrigger. I pair this with executing frodo's setvolume program through a batch file. It works best if i set it to execute the batch file before hibernation, otherwise it doesn't run it soon enough on resume to actually start at the set volume when centrafuse starts playing.
Here is the link for suspendtrigger. Suspend Trigger

Or have a user defined volume to resume and fade to. I think that would be optimal.
I personally hate being blasted with loud music when i hop in my car if i forgot to turn it down before hand.

I was looking forward to the crossfading feature but it doesn't seem to work when the next song on the list starts playing automatically. It only seems to work when you change songs manually.
Could you look into this?
Tx
yah i get this too, it works fine if u skip to next song, but when its playing by it self, the song will cut off say at the last 5 secs (the fade time i have) and the next song will start, the fade is missing
