If I load a mp3 cd into my cdrom, it comes up in centrafuse with the name of all the songs as the name of whatever the last mp3 song playing from the hard drive was. It shows the correct number of songs on the cd though. This seems to happen with or without auto play enabled. Regular CDs work fine.

david

I figured it out, my system was set for large fonts (120dpi), changing it back to 96dpi and rebooting fixed it and now it looks like yours. Can you make the Centrafuse fonts function independently of system fonts? I'm sure I'm not the only one using large fonts, on these tiny screens it's almost a necessity.

EDIT: Ok, that was a bit dumb. Actually it was the display DPI setting that was 120, I just realized that fonts can be adjusted seperately. So, with display DPI set at 96 and fonts set to extra large, it does seem to work properly. Still not sure if this will work well for me, I do like having the display DPI at 120 because it makes other parts of the GUI easier to see as well. Thanks for taking a look.

Opaque background BEFORE overlayed screens/dialogs

Minor detail...

It appears that whenever you overlay a dialog/screen on top of the current interface, you are bringing the dialog up front FIRST, and opaquing the background SECOND.

It is noticeable. Would be much nicer if you made the background turn opaque FIRST, and *then* overlay the new dialog/screen on top.

Cheekz185 will become famous soon enough
David,

IN System Info, under CPU Temp, it never says the temp all it says is °C. I have mbm5 running but never can get the temp. Also how would I change it to Farenheit?

Lightbulb Single Click needs more thought

The 'Single Click' function should be used only in certain sections of the system.

One example where it should NOT be used, is the EQ presets. If I bring the list up, and I want to delete a preset that already exists, I would normally select the line and then hit the 'minus' sign.
As is right now, as soon as I click the line it loads the preset, and does not give me achance to delete!

OK, I think this should be the rationale behind the use of 'Single Click':
-If there is any further possible action after a 'click', then that should never be a 'Single Click' function.

So, generally speaking, if the interface provides means of doing 'more stuff' with any given selection, then that should not be 'Single Click' enabled.
Seems like there are only a few places where you'd want to allow 'Single Click'. Mainly the playlists, directories, etc.

Thoughts?

David: Awsome job on the bug fixes.

On thing that I did notice is that the eq does not control my videos levels. Only music.

Also the treble and bass knobs have no effect on no matter what I am playing. Thanks.

if there is no temp then I was unable to retrieve the value form WMI... this only works on some systems... I am looking into a better way to query that informaiton...

the treble/bass knobs just move small rnage in the EQ... so if the EQ works then they should be working...

The EQ will not work with the videos... I currently have no control over the video audio stream...

how does this sound for singleclick...

In media manager what I did was when singleclick is enabled it goes to the next level automatically, but your selection is what you clicked... then nothing is selected by default in the next level...

basically I just need to have singleclick stop working at the last level or the end of the line... so it would always be singeclick in dialogs like presets and on the main media screen... since it can't go any deeper... but in media manager it would go unitl you hit an actual song/file...

that sound about right?

david

I think I understand what you're suggesting, and it makes sense.

However, on the presets for EQ, it cannot be singleclick. Yes, it is the 'end' of the 'tree', but you can't assume that for that reason there is no other possible selection. Did you see my example above, re: deleting a preset? There are more possible actions, even though it is the end of the tree...

EDIT: I re-read it again. You're saying at the end of the tree it will NOT double-click for you, right? Yes, I think that way it will work well.

BUG XX of YY files -- not updatinng correctly.

Incidentally, I noticed a bug related to this. If you are navigating the 'Tree' in media manager (e.g., by Genre) when you click on a Genre, it goes to the next level down the tree, but it does not correctly update the XX of YY files display at the top right. It will show the PREVIOUS level's totals. (e.g.: 14/22)

I believe this applies throughout.

Is the video stream piggy backing of windows media player. As far as the bass and treble sliders are you saying that they also have no effect on video as well?

BUG Cannot select a song in the list after performing SEARCH

If you perform a media SEARCH, and get your results list, you are not able to select a single line item. It basically selects and immediately de-selects. (never gets to actually hilite the line).

Looks like this is related to Single Click mode. Disabling Single-Click mode fixes it.
