I have an album loaded in the playlist and playing. Then another application takes focus. When this happens, centrafuse looses the playlist (or so it seems) and stops playing. Exited with an error.
Heres whats in the error log:

nothing uses windows media player...
move the bass/treble and then go back to your EQ.. moving the bass/treble sliders is no different than moving the second lowest frequency and the second highest frequency on the EQ...
the EQ does not work with DVD or video...

When I installed mine, right after filling the serial out, it made the little startup noise and boom, .Net error.
Now, everytime I open it, same error after the intro music with the nice little red X on white background display. Sucks ***.

Yeah, that's very dependant on the motherboard itself. Only two of my machines will respond to temp info. Two of them won't..

It sound right, this is definately a difficult thing, but eventhough I was very much fond of the single-click thing, the the way selection is working in CF 1.3+ is growing on me :-)
It takes time for people to try out new things, and you did think a lot about how to make selection work.
So I agree, try to implement single-click everywhere it woun´t break some of "your" concept, and let´s give a try....
If something then works really really bad, we´ll take it up in 1.5 requests thread

i had this same problem when installing 1.31 over 1.3 . just uninstall CF altogether (it should show 2 instances in add/remove. remove both) and reinstall. should work.

I did uninstall 1.3 before installing 1.4, and deleted the dir.
Also, my resolution was at 800 x 600, but when I started centrafuse and before I was getting the error, I couldnt see about 1/4" of the right side of the screen.

really odd. cuz i got the same exact problems as you. whit screen with a red x, .net errors, the works. and the uninstall/reinstall worked. are you sure its not howing more than one instance of CF in the add/remove programs?
only other wild guess suggestion i have is to redownload CF again. might have somehow got corrupted.

Did you set it to a different skin? Older skin files WILL NOT WORK with 1.4. Set it to the Blue Ice skin until people start rebuilding other skins.
I had the same problem when I tried to switch to my old 1.3 skin.

Happened during installation? Like when you ran the setup file, or after CF was installed, and you had to 'enter setup'?
I had to manually delete the 'Flux Media' directory in Program Files after the uninstall, because it left my setup files in there..

Now I can't seem to recreate it but I've had the single click option turn off magically when browsing through media a few times in a row. Of course now that I'm trying to recreate it I can't get it to do the same thing... Just wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone else had this happen...
