I hope thats a bug and that it isn't programed to be so.

do you have singleclick enabled? If so the logic is different... Everything you select is one level back... When you select an album with single click it automatically pulls that album up, but doesn't select anything in the new list... At that point the album is selected... so hitting load or "+" deals with the album... if you then select a song it automatically starts playing that song... You have less options when using single click, but there are only so many ways to implement it...

david

no, I don't have the singelclick enabled. if I say it this way: I'm in the album view, and I wan't to add two albums. If I then add with pressing the "+" it says album added and then I move to the other album and add this and it says album added, then I press load and the album that is in the playlist is the album I selected last, the first isn't in the playlist. tested with singelklick and without, no difference. also the other way around with the albums, still the last album gets added.

Hibernate/Resume Signal

It seems that embedded programs still aren't receiving the hibernate/resume signals. This is important because some embedded programs rely on this signal to initialize properly after resuming.

load loads whatever is selected... it is like play now... after you add both albums to your "queue", simply click queue on the left and then hit load...

when load is clicked while browsing in the library it auto clears the queue and loads the current selection... this is to allow easy music browsing to simply just play what you have selected... Otherwise simply add to the queue and click queue on the left before you hit load...

david,
after a clean install and re-install of 1.4, i cant get any albums to be recognized in that selection. it just shows one "unknown album" and when i click that it shows all my songs under the heading of "unknown artist" then proceeds to show the artist after that.
please see attached pics for example...i even changed a few of the folder jpegs to pngs, and they still dont show up.

also, (sorry if its in here somwhere) some ext. apps are still opening down in the lower right hand portion of the screen. it still resets correctly after you hit "apps" again and then the same program...
FYI...
thank you for all your effort and time.

it can't read your tags for some reason... Did the tag reading ever work for you in 1.4? I changed the tag reading completly in 1.4 from 1.3...

this is a timing issue... sometimes my app sends the maximize command before the embedded app is ready to receive it... I will work something out with this...

heres the weird thing... on my desktop, v1.4 works fine... i get my cover art, the highlighted selection bar moves up and down each individual choice..
but on my carputer it does what i described already... and it moves through the choices by "pages" rather than individual songs, and it doesn't highlight any choice.
i have xp home on the desktop and xp pro on the carputer if that helps any....

and heres the other weird thing... per my other issue in another post about the DVD not working, it works on my desktop, but not the carputer...

could it be an XP version issue?

it is basically having trouble opening the files and reading the tags, so it defaults everything to unknown... Do you have any strange permissions on the music folder in the car?

Does the DVD work in WMP? this is most always a codec problem...

Disable AutoPlay and let me know if it goes away... I use WMI to query the drives to check for disc insertion...

that is the only WMI query I run other than when you click system information...

BUG Visualization does not scale correctly

If you changeb the size of visualization, the widow size changes, but the content does not scale. Is this a bug?

Eg., try:
<VISUALIZATION>
<X>22</X>
<Y>64</Y>
<WIDTH>40</WIDTH>
<HEIGHT>40</HEIGHT>
</VISUALIZATION>
