AAARRGHHH

My new cf dont run anymore... just always hangs in "intialization" screen on startup. Last action what i was trying to do while it was still working was change weather plugin into metric. Centra hanged while change. i killed it and after that it never started again, even after reboots. So David is there mayby some setup file i could try to destroy, or do i have to do reinstall?

Just reinstall. It's my 5th time uninstalling and reinstalling.

shutdown and restart dont work either with centrafuse set as shell or with explorer as shell

hibernate and standby do.

MAN, People REALLY like this new avatar.

Hehe, my classmates were complaining that they had nothing to oggle at anymore during class. So, I figured I'd replace mine with something nice.

Actually, Scouse helpedf me resize this thing so that it would fit as an avatar.

The sound quality with me is better in 1.4 then in 1.5....

Using the GPS to add a POI desination seems to cause some real problems

After adding a destination I get a gray screen that says "Static"

First Bug, also in V1.4:

When having both fullscreen mode and always on top set to on and in an evaluation mode. The evaluation splash screen is not visible...seemingly locked up, press ALT-T (same as clicking try button) and CF starts

Second Bug, Video Path in Settings

1) click on the +
2) try to add a directory with spaces i.e. C:\Music Videos
3) Click Ok

List is empty and sometimes it's hard to get back to the main settings screen (complains, locks up etc)

This also happens in the plugins weather location screen.

Third bug, in mixer using volume controls

1) Go to the mixer
2) fool around with volume up and volume down in the lower left corner (not the mixer controls)

Seems to have weird things happen, volume goes up and down, sound levels go out of the expected levels. USB locked up at one point similar experience to previous poster (can't remember who)

I also had the display mode mess up button arragements etc in 600x480 mode. switched to 800x600 and all is layed out correctly.

Complaints:

Rebuild library task - shows song names rather than song count, personally I much prefered seeing a number, at least I could ballpark around when it would be complete, I wouldn't mind song names if I had a progress bar or some other indication of when this would be done.

General Sound quality - I'm not sure if it's the fact that the mixer and volume levels seem REALLY low or if it's just I haven't fiddled enough with it, but sound quality seems to have taken a big dive. The sound sounds distorted and not clear, the controls and EQ do not seem to work as well as 1.4 did, I would go as far as saying the mixer controls make it sound worse, I couldn't get my ears to agree with the settings (hard to explain) but with 1.4 I knew exactly how the EQ tuning controls would sound like...like tuning a guitar. With 1.5, what I hear coming out of the speakers in conjunction with adjusting the controls just doesn't work right.

Strike the thing about sound quality it was as settings issue with the mixer and my big fingers, when I upped a few EQ bands it maked out the levels and made the sounds staticy and choppy, put them down to a reasonable level and all is good, some other bugs in sound volume stoped it from going loud enough and the PRE was low fixed that. So my comments were premature and I didn't fiddle enough, sound quality is just as good as 1.4.

some of the features look promising but I haven't played around with it enough to find the new things useful.

I noted that some of the hotspots are off which I compensated for with my fingers...

highlight the album in the quick library and it will load the entire album...

it appears to be timing out searching for your location... try something more general... try typing less information about your location... no commas or anything...
