Same here. Also, it doesn't seem to accept keyboard inputs on a web page. If, for example, I go to google, type something in the search box and hit enter nothing happens.

Freezing when using hotkeys

I've noticed when useing the hotkeys excessivly for changing volume, the centrafuse display will freeze. Music continues to play and CF can still be controlled by hotkeys, but the screen will not refresh. I wish i could get more info on this, but it doesn't error out so i have to error log to offer.

Other than this, it seems to be quite stable. I still have some issues with skinbedder embedding iGuidance correctly but i may just have to edit the config file.

I really like the change to the volume control. I run the carputer strait to an amp, no headunit, and the volume curve is way better now. The only issue is the volume % meter, but to offer a suggestion, I'd rather have a meter bar* like this:
[][][][][][][]
and have it light up the squares as to what the volume percentage is.

The text that shows volume percentage is too small to read and determine the digits at a glance even on an 8" LCD.

Keep up the good work David!

#1. Almost nothing will embed anymore. This is a complete regression from the last release. iGuidance and Explorer specifically refuse to embed.

#2. It's possible to run two instances of Centrafuse at the same time. Very annoying. This can very easily be fixed with the CreateMutex() named mutex technique mentioned in a billion Visual Studio samples.

#3. Now that I can't use iGuidance anymore because of the embed issue (the GPS plugin issue can be worked around by renaming a dummy file over the .dll name), I need Destinator maps now. Which version of Destinator do I need to buy to get these? And no I can't wait until the final release - you shouldn't have killed iGuidance with these bugs .

Yeah, lack of iGuidance totally turned me off, I didn't spend more time with 1.5. I will wait for 1.6 to see if things get better.

I have both embeded fine. I do iGuidance through iGmod though. But explorer embeds just fine. I also don't have the GPS problems that some are having. My BU-303 works fine in iGmod even with the destinator plugin loaded. My only complaint about embedding has already been addressed (the header being optional)

David,

I have noticed 3 times already that when adding a new external app, it requires me to quit/restart CF in order to see it in the available options under the "Set Actions' section. I think this is easily reproducible.

you guys are lame... IG will be fazed out becuase of the new destinator that is comming out. There is no way in IG to adjust volume there are many ways with in Destinator. Sure some of the maps aren't the greatest in Destinator right now but the next release which is soon will be much better. I would just say drop the whole IG deal........

wtf? where'd that comment come from? if you don't have any valuable input for bugs or suggestions for some of us that choose to continue using iGuidance, then how about you stfu and keep those type of comments to yourself.

I have the buttons staying ocasionally down issue all over the place.... I also have a problem where with some of my mp3's, the player "gets stuck" at a certain point.... always at the same spot on the same mp3's... I either hit play to restart & then when it reaches the same point in that song it just stops again....or click a different song.. the bar diplays for visualization also just stops where it was frozen like... only on some mp3's.... don't know if this is just me & my setup only though....

when I have cf open & hybernate & then come out, cf will not play at all.... the soundcard comes out no problem, but I have to shut down cf & restart it, then all is good again

sometimes I have an internet connection but cf browser can't load pages... if I exit I can get to pages through explorer or firefox, but then back into cf it doesn't work again...

I have to say though that this program is awsome all around aside from the bugs....

is there a way to have videos display as a list instead of album art.... I can't see anything really, I have no album art & selecting videos is guesswork at this point....the small amount of text available with the album art is almost useless.... a list view would be awsome... don't know if that's possible though

this front end is so nice that it's causing me to want to learn .net framework & learn how to edit the xml's.... really looking foward to the 1.6 release... THANK YOU for an awsome front end
