1.7 'problems' with navigation

hello,

now using cf 1.7 I found the following 'problems' with the navigation

When i startup the navigation my GPS is not seen, I have to restart cf a few time's (and wait a long time) to finaly see it. (but when it works and i hibernate from cf it works perfectly)

The speed ad street name is not recognized the map shows me the current location perfectly and also navigation to a place works perfectly just the window that shows me the speed and current road is off (no road or somthing) (speed is completely of when i drive about 80km/h it says -34km/h)

Also I can't find the option to change to metric now everything is in miles and yards while I would like to have it to meters and kilometers.

The navigation engine in RC1 is not finished, please wait until RC2...

Hi David,
Before rebuild my laptop, CF showing me the right unit for my region (metric) and after a complete rebuild with same XP disk (with good regional setting) it wont change the unit (only imperial) even if it's notify "M" in xml file.
This is really disturbing....i can't drive like that...i'm checking all xml files but not found something regarding UNIT.
Have you a temp solution for that ?
