I thought I had code to continue to look for the application and force a kill if it waited too long, but if it half way closes then I might be detecting that as a close...

ok, i'll try that. S&T closes fine, or so it seems. is S&T keeping somethihng open, so CF can't kill it?

Edit: making a menu button didn't work - when i tell it to go to the main menu, it just sits there. going to reboot and try it again....

I got GPS lock for around 2 days, even after Countless Hibernations & restarts. I just installed a USB TV tuner and now the GPS won't lock. In destinator it does. I'm using the BU353 in Metric mode. I've check all com port settings etc.

Centrafuse takes a long time (8 seconds) to switch XM stations. FrodoSatRadioX and XtremePCR switch stations almost immediately (<1sec).

I havent even gotten it to work... what is your hardware setup? xmdirect on a com port? No USB adapter? I am curious, as I hope to eventually get mine working with CF.

I have the same problem with NAV with RC1.

It worked the first time after setup (got 9 satellites locked) and after restart CF it doesn't work anymore..

I got it with a trick. Go to setup and choose the port, speed and protocol (nmea, 48xxx) and save. Restart, do it again and this time press cancel not save.

There still is an issue with the back button if you are in mediamanager mode and you have a skin that does not cover the bottom buttons. In RC1 the buttons didn't work at all, now they do work. However, clicking the back button will get you to the main screen but still show the mediamanager on top of it but unclickable! It should close the mediamanager instead.

David what about the bugs i listed. I lost postcodes in rc2 yet they appear back in rc1

Not sure... I do not know exactly what maps you are using and only sure that the maps I have are compatible...

I have this problem too, and it was in RC1, putting MAIN on the drop down does nothing, tried that... Only way around it is to press <ALT> & <F4> to forcefully close the app thats hung during close!

Anyone else tried the system info tab yet? Just noticed CF RC2 only has a 28day license!!!

And on website my reg number for 1.6 has vanished

Does this mean more license issues soon, or that RC3 will be out very soon?

Space key on OSK, AND when using a proper keyboard still adds double spaces! This stops it finding addresses and postcodes so it may fix other issues if everyone is aware of this! Like the guy who has postcodes misssing, are they missing or is it searching for one with two spaces in it instwad of one?

What program is hanging for you? I'm hoping someone has something hang that I actual have installed so I can test...

You can request a serial number under My Account just like every other version before, if it doesn't show up send an email because something is wrong with your account...

Sometimes when I insert my audio CD, it loads and play. Prob is CF RC2 does not stop playing the current song in my MP3 library.?? There's no way to stop the song in the library from being played except to exit CF.

Its Nissan Data Scan v1.51 thats hanging (you can download it but it won't connect to ECU without reg code). But I have had it happen with CF's own NAV on a few occassion with RC1, not yet on RC2 though.
I would also love to find a way to make CF grab more than one window for an external app as this one throws up new windows for gauges that don't embed as they have different windownames and I cannot convince Tom the developer to have a re-think
