Red face Speed in metric mode way off

I think this is a known issue with the speed of the car in CF RC2, but I will ask anyway
I have set CF for metric (km/h) and I use Scandinavian map from Destinator 6. All other readings are correct except the speed.
Is it my installation that is crap ore is it a bug in CF RC2?

I thought the speed came back in meters, but it was actually nautical miles...

The math is all wrong, it's already been fixed in RC2.1...

I'm even more reluctant that they'll believe me I was driving - 6km/h

David, is this issue with the negative speeds also related to the same issue?

We will find out when I release RC2.1... I know it was coming in nautical miles and I was calculating it very wrong... I don't see how negative numbers could have shown up, but I am using the exact formulas sent over from Destintor now...

If there is an issue after RC2.1, that means it's in the Destinator SDK and I will have them fix it, I'm sure it will be an easy fix... It seems to be working for me right now...

Today I checked again the speed display in RC2 and I was constantly driving at somewhere between 10kmph and -6 to -38kmph. So yes, negatives do appear in RC2

Well, I use the GPS speed readout to know how much faster than what my speedo is showing I can drive
Sofar this information was useful enough and I was able to get away with tickets (knock on wood ), but, as I said, I think I'll have some trouble persuading the policeman that I was driving -36kmph

i used speed in map monkey because it was in big yellow writing but its very small in CF so i don't use it anymore. Shouldn't your speedo be a little over rated anyway? for example, when you are doing 60 km/h, most cars will show 65km/h. Does the police also take into account of laser gun error? in australia, they usually record your speed and take 2-5% off. If get pinned at 61km/h (60km limit), this would not be speeding after they take off the 2%.
