Try it out with a long name and see what I mean. It works for SOME long names, and it fails for others. I cannot find a pattern. It was not happenning in RC3.0
I have this listed on my known issues to look into after I get RC4 released, I cannot reproduce it...

It has been there... It's a stupid .NET drawing error... I will look back into it, I actually forgot about it...

David, is it possible to put volume command to "higher priority"? I am using Via Epia SP 1.3 and I have noticed that pressing keyboard shortcut to volume up/down is working with a very short delay. Is it not so smooth. If you can do anything about it.
Another thing I have noticed is progress bar (volume). There are cca 20 steps (||||||||||||||||||||). 0 is MIN, 20 is MAX. What I have noticed is that:
- from 1 to 10 is MIN+1
- from 11 to max is working great (11 is MIN+2, 12 is MIN+3... 20 is MAX).
You should delete 2-10, because volume stays the same.
I have the latest Vinyl drivers (6.70b) and I am using logaritmic volume.

I switched to the regular Onys skin, and the issue manifests itself there too, but not as obvious. Only a few frame loops at the end of long name scrolling sequence.
With my Nexus skin, it loops endlessly! It must have to do with the size of the title label, and the code behind the scrolling sequence. Just thought I'd give more pointers.

try turning logaritmic volume off with those drivers, I believe it's built in and does not need to be enabled in Centrafuse....

If I go online and find the BASS library/program/whatever, and take the dll and put it inplace of this one, I hear the startup sound, it says "Welcome to Centrafuse, click to setup your options..." I click OK and I get:
http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/6598/error2zj9.png
Then I need to alt+F4 it cause it freezes there.
Can you PLEASE upload the previous working version somewhere? It worked perfectly fine for me and the few bugs it had didn't bother me at all.
Please...

your install has to be messed up... files appear missing based on that stack trace...
I would uninstall everything and manually delete ALL folders that Centrafuse has every been installed in, reboot, then install RC4 which I will be releasing maybe tonight, if not tomorrow... Waiting to hear back from a tester to verify the new version of PhoneControl that is integrated...

I tried installing it several times, with and without different versions of .NET framework, after reboots, after clearing stuff, nothing works.
I JUST reformatted a day ago, my computer is running like new and it worked just fine on my last install of XP.
I hope RC4 will work.
The thing is it works if I replace bass.dll, but it freezes when its "loading plugins", but next time I try to start it it gives the bass.dll error again.

2. i am connected through usb
3. bluetooth is ready and is discoverable.
i run the centrafuse phone control setup.
1. search for bluetooth works perfectly
2. go to next screen and it searches for serial (why no usb??)
3. throws exception right away.
i am using an epia m1000 with windows xp pro - all updates are done.

Tried to search for it but it seems as if I'm alone...
Whenever Destinator "speaks" the music is paused (find that very annoying) but never as long as the directions I'm given are.
So, media is paused for ~3-4 seconds and the nav-voice will take the time it needs, so if it's something short like "turn right" there will be a moment of silence and if it's longer I'll have both music and directions.

I don't get an event that tells me exactly how long each spoken voice in navigation is going to take in every language to delay the music perfect, it's just an average...

I guess it would be a lot ow work to cover all thinkable combinations and time them, but surely they (destinator) know when it start/stops and should be able to supply you with that info (two events) rather than having one event and the time it will take.
Will there be an option to mute the music a set amount of percent rather than having it paused ?
Many thanks,
/M

RC3.1
http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/2132/blueru7.png
Also, the first two buttons in the options for the voice control setup dont do anything, and when I press the third one "voice commands" and try to record a command such as "computer", I press record and speak and nothing happens and if i click OK it just shows "" where it used to say "computer"
Also, the equaliser presets don't work, it doesnt save what I had it setup to last start, and it doesn't let me save a new preset after I saved two by the same name "lolset".
Also, the audio output is LOUD. like it almost killed my eardrums when I first told it to play a song. The "front" slider sounds like it's max at 50, anything higher clips horrably..why would you do this? It's not usable at all.
Another suggestion would be to make the "Bass" slider affect the first band of the equaliser. The 140hz band is considered in the "mids" of audio. The first band would be a better choice, it affects the actual bass alot more. Likewise for the treble. It only affects one band. If you could make it pull the ones near to it in a curve, it would be much better.

Okay, RC4 is out. Ummm, lets see. It installed fine, but when I went to the media mode it gave me a small exception error msg box. I think it was exception 224, and it did it several times. It only did it the first time, it works fine now after a restart of Centrafuse.
For some reason, the "general" options menu isn't accessable. When I double click on it it doesn't open anything...the others work though.
The EQ presets work fine, it loads the last one every time.
The major problem is the sound playback. When I click on a song to play, it blasts it loud for a quarter of a second, before reducing the volume to a normal level. This is really annoying especially when you listen to alot of metal. Also, even though I set single click off in the options, and most things take a double click to open, I need to only single click on a song to play it when I'm used to double clicking. You should add an option to change single or double click for the songs in the library.
I absolutely love the way everythign else in the program is done. I like the fact that you thought about many small things like the random mode. It's a smart random mode in that that if you switch a song, and click back, rather than going back to a different song in a predetermined mixed playlist it will go to the last song played. Good work.
The only thing that bothers me is the amount of memory that is used, but I do understand that most people are putting decent computers into thier car, with 512+MB of ram, but I need to use a crappy P3 laptop for this with 128MB of RAM. I have yet to test it...I hope it runs fine.
