I noticed something weird about the daytime Onyx skin: When I am using the Nav (Destinator) the top bar with all the buttons and the info about the GPS turns really small and is in the upper left hand corner of the map, and all the space it is supposed to occupy is black. If I put the Nav in full screen it is fine - if I use the night skin the full screen is messed up in this manner, but when not in full screen it is fine. Anyone else seen this?

Though there are a couple of known issues with XM in CF, what you're describing is not one of them.

No, i have not tried that, but i'll see if i can get the XM playing with this.

Thanks for the info and the link.

this was reported, looking into it...

think it's just bad data entered into the XML file for that skin...

Coolio, thanks.

Have you had a chance to look into adding the SHN codec to the player as well?

I got this to happen to me once, but never again... Can you easily reproduce this problem? Is it only with the Onyx Day skin? Does it go away when you exit and startup the application again?

I haven't restarted the app or computer in a while, and I will this weekend when I really work on it some more, but it reproduces with hibernation everytime so far. It's really weird how it does this on the day skin only when not full screen, and on the night skin only in full screen. If it continues to reproduce after a reboot (I'm pretty sure I have rebooted since I started using the Nav app, but not sure) I will post a screenshot or two this weekend.

I saw it once on my system, just can't make it happen again or come up with the steps to make it happen everytime so I can figure out what is happening..

there is no image resizing going on, on resume from hibernation, which is weird.. I had it happen to me once switching skins around a bunch of times, but can't reproduce it...

Minor annoyance only:

I'm running iGuidance within a modified SkinBedder setup, which is then embedded within CF. It works great, and moving from RC1 to RC4 fixed the issue where when iGuidance is displayed 'fullscreen' it doesn't cut off the bottom.

Here's the annoyance. If I leave iGuidance in the 'fullscreen' mode, hibernate, and resume when the auto-skin change is set to occur, CF DOES change the skin, but it pops iGuidance out of fullscreen mode. It's really not that horrible, but it'd be nice if the skin change didn't cause the app you're using to pop out of fullscreen.

David, I reloaded CF and the EQ and viz settings are now being saved properly. I do use hard shutdowns occassionally. Perhaps it's related to the hard shut down issue you mentioned in the known issues thread. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if I notice a pattern.
